The Beginning
Already during his schooltime Robert Wagner discovered his weakness for the event scene. When he was a 17-year-old head boy in his high school he promoted brilliant musicians like the world-famous boogie-woogie-pianist Axel Zwingenberger while his classmates were away on a schooltrip to France. At that time he was all in one person: producer and promoter, press officer, placard distributor and marketing strategist. In 1985, when he was 20 years old, he founded the Robert Wagner Entertainment Plc.
Already two years after the company foundation Robert Wagner hit his first bull’s eye: Being Germany’s youngest concert manager he managed in 1987 to promote a unique Open-Air-Festival in his small hometown Deggendorf! For “The Blue Danube Festival” he succeeded in bringing his own great idols into the province of lower Bavaria: Chuck Berry, B.B. King, Rory Gallagher, Roger Chapman, Robert Cray – the biggest Blues legends had come and henceforward the foundation for a long-running career in the event sector was laid!
