Concerts & Festivals
Already one year after the legendary „The Blue Danube Festival“ with more than 8,000 visitors, Robert Wagner engaged the “sex machine” and soul-icon James Brown for two concerts in Munich. In the course of the following years until 1992 Robert Wagner Entertainment turned out to be one of the leading local promoters in the East-Bavarian region.
Not only further Blues and Rock concerts followed, with international artist (e.g. Little Richard, Miles Davis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Santana, Champion Jack Dupree), but also very successful pop concerts with stars like Chris de Burgh, Eros Ramazzotti, Herbert Grönemeyer, Udo Jürgens, Joan Baez, Gianna Nannini, Rainhard Fendrich and “Die Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung”.
Also the musical, cabaret and folk music scene was covered by Robert Wagner Entertainment with productions like „Evita“ and „Der Watzmann ruft“, comedians like Willy Astor, Ringsgwandl and Gerhard Polt as well as folk stars like „Die Kastelruther Spatzen“ and Karl Moik with his “Musikantenstadl”.
Between 1994 and 2002 – parallel to the promotion of „THE GREAT CHINESE STATE CIRCUS” – Robert Wagner Entertainment promoted, together with Bavaria’s most successful private radio station „Antenne Bayern“, the popular „Antenne Bayern Summer Festivals“. These were gigantic Open-Air-Concerts with up to 10 different national and international stars on stage, which attracted often more than 30,000 visitors.
